Pierre Debusschere is a modern day conjurer who used pyrotechnics and chemistry to contrast the sharp, embellished tailoring of the Dolce & Gabbana S/S10 collection with a surreal aesthetic for the AnOther Man Outlaw Issue. He was “spinning around, clicking stills, shooting video, shooting rockets,” says fashion editor David St. John James who styled the shoot. Here we show an exclusive edit of images held back from the issue and a fashion film starring the young, talented and ethical actor Robert Sheehan. (“It was stunning gear. I was trying to pinch a few items, but I was raised honest.”) Sheehan stars in the UK TV series Misfits and upcoming films Back To Jack with Carey Mulligan and Wayfaring Strangers with Cillian Murphy. “He also had that element of an outlaw,” says St. John James, “young and full of energy with a look that is a bit dark and twitchy, but wild and beautiful at the same time.”

I was seriously obsessed with his work for a while, he does the kind of photography I only dream about, shots at night, long exposure (up to 10 hours), film only!.

He uses the varying degrees of normally occurring darkness, light and contrast that night brings to create shifting moods of abstract beauty. Anyone who has been out walking alone at 3 a.m. will immediately recognize the inherent stillness and loneliness of these moments.

My personal favourite:

Name: Daniel Sannwald

Favourite Song: Daniel by BAT FOR LASHES

Belgium-based German photographer Daniel Sannwald is difficult to define. His work inspires the imagination with its crisp, superreal style, and his juxtaposition of images creates fantasy. A regular contributor to Dazed & Confused, Vogue Homme Japan,  V Magazine , i-D, etc. each project Daniel undertakes is dramatically different and unique. See for yourself.

One of my favourites. He is an American photographer,  renowned for his provocative, electrifying images of world-class musicians. His intense use of light, color and composition produces succulent, visual magic. This electricity, however, has its origin in Kevin’s lifelong romance with the adventure of rock and roll.

In the UK, his first published pieces in The NME (1984) shaped and secured a photographic future in the music and entertainment world. His musical heritage included memorable portraits of:  Jane’s Addiction, Pixies, Bjork,  PJ Harvey, Massive Attack,  The Rolling Stones, Marilyn Manson, Chemical Brothers, Richard Ashcroft, Doves, U2, Radiohead, Bon Jovi and Coldplay.

Kevin has also recently begun working with creatives from the performing arts: David Lynch, Luc Besson, The Coen Brothers, Billy Bob Thornton, Sean Penn, Jean Luc Godard, Ethan Hawke, Nicole Kidman, Tom Stoppard and Alan Rickman. Kevin’s images range from stunning to rebellious. But most critically, they capture the romance and beauty of our collective human adventure.

Don’t know much about her, I think she’s from London. First noticed her photos when I googled Patrick Wolf, and what a surprise. One of the first pics I saw taken by her was with a Holga, so I immediately loved her,  and her blog is quite interesting  as well http://rebeccatakespictures.blogspot.com. There’s a little about everything there, so you should check it out.

First pic I saw:
